New in 2021: Camping Les Chapelains is the first campsite in the Drôme Valley to offer private bathrooms on camping pitches. These Premium pitches have their own private bathroom, fridge and gas barbecue for customers staying in their own tent, caravan or camper. The Premium camping pitch is located under the poplars and is ideal for enjoying an authentic camping holiday with maximum comfort! Your privatebathroom is equipped with a toilet, shower, washbasin and outside sink. It is autonomous for hot water and directly accessible on your pitch. You keep hygiene in your own hands. Because even though the neighbors are nice, you don’t have to share everything!
Maximum comfort with the camping atmosphere
Individual sanitary facilities are more common in campsites in Netherland or Deutschland. But they are not very widespread on campsites in France yet. However, private sanitary facilities have become increasingly popular in recent years. This equipment meets the campers’ demand for greater comfort. Private sanitary facilities are often offered on luxury camping pitches. People who want more comfort and prefer to avoid the collective toilets, while retaining the camping atmosphere, choose it. COVID-19 has increased his interest, even though the rigorous cleaning protocols of collective sanitary facilities have made it possible to provide campers with perfect health protection during the summer of 2020.
Private sanitary facilities are also appreciated in the low season. The heating system provides extra comfort when the outside temperatures are lower.
Perfect integration into the environment
With our environment friendly approach, we have selected a production from natural materials, in the shape of a tent combining wood, tarpaulin and canvas. The wooden cladding allows a better visual integration with the environment of our individual sanitary facilities.
Our private bathrooms are made from untreated Douglas-fir and larch wood, providing natural protection against moisture. The wood used meets PEFC * certification which corresponds to rigorous and protective management of forests, for future generations. All the junction elements of the structures are made of natural materials. The tarpaulins and canvases used benefit from a recycling process. By reproducing the shape of traditional tents, we combine aesthetics and comfort while offering an atypical and very trendy construction.
